if this is the same UMAX that make flatbed scanners I`d avoid... very unreliable... and their customer service stinks (Took 3 months to get a replacement scanner)...

I Believe this is the same player that they were peddling with a 5.1 speaker setup a while ago.

A lot of people round the forum (inc. moi) bought then had to return them with major problems

Personally I would not be tempted again, especially as Comet now sell an (admittedly not quite as niceley specced) DVD for the same price, with the bonus that you can throw it at them if it goes wrong

I`ve just read the threads about this player and agree. Avoid this player. I have just had an email from Savastore.com and they are selling a multiregion player for £58.69. They`ve also got one for £46.99 but it doesn`t say multiregion.

I wouldn`t p*** on Savastore if their warehouse was on fire, the trouble I had when they sent me a hard drive i hadn`t ordered and charged me £70 for it!
