Page 1 of Cheap DVD Writers (i think)

HI. I saw this at bigpockets.co.uk .. TEAC X4 Speed DVD-R writer for only £129.99 this is the retail version. Same as the pioneer A05...

Is this cheap... does anyone know any other good offers on dvd writers retail ones...

That`s pretty good for the retail version, as long as it really is a rebadged Pioneer. Bigpockets were doing the Pioneer 105 for £99, but they`re out of stock now. We get them for £90 + VAT, so we can`t compete with that price. We have to do them for about £115 to make any money at all (when you factor in shipping costs to us, and then out to the customer). Hardly anything in it profit wise, but that`s computers for you.

If we had a bulk order we could do them cheaper, but try convincing people to buy from a relatively anonymous, small shop... They don`t want to do it! ;)
