Bought one of these 4 weeks ago at £89.99. Tesco`s just taken a £10 off. Region hack available & just right for the kids!

Can you give a brief review of the system?

No, it isn`t the one you show. I can`t find a picture sorry.
It hacks for multi region:
Open the tray
Press 8, 1, 3, 2 and 8
The region menu will appear, then press enter until region 9 is selected and press Play
The unit will now be multi region.

Considering the size & power of the all in one system it sounds very good for the money. I am using it on a 24" widescreen sanyo with a very good scart lead & the picture is good with black blacks & good colour & contrast. I usually watch on a 37" plasma using a Pioneer DV 747A & I don`t feel short changed!

Bought one of these last year, when £150 - as second system in the conservatory. Running on Sony 24" Widescreen - picture is fantastic and sound excellent (but have to have it up nearly on full in the 3.2m x 3.2m room)
Nice pacakge - discrete speakers, also use to play CDs and sounds fine.
For the price I paid I was very pleased - for new price would be silly not to invest!

Thanks for the reviews of this system, it sounds as though it's good value for money, add to this the fact that it can be hacked to multi region & you're onto a winner for the price :)

May just have to pay Tesco's a visit & check one out.

Well I paid Tesco's a visit last night but unfortunately there was none of these systems to be seen anywhere & as it was Thursday night the shop was heaving with customers & very few staff.
It looked to me that they had never had any in this particular store (Tesco's extra)

So I called at Safeway to check out the Lenoxx Sound HT600.
It looked a nice system for the money (£99.99) & as there were only a couple left I bit the bullet & bought one.

Have to report that so far I'm impressed with it, good sound & pictures & able to be hacked to multi region.
