The boxset can be preordered from play for £32.99....but they haven`t noticed that it is not the £39.99 12 hour set that was due to be released earlier this year, but is now a 22 hour set RRP of 59.99. I have preordered, i don`t know if play will honor the price or not, but i reckon there is a good saving to be had here. :D
It says 12 hours in the technical specs.

Look at this thread in the software forum, hopefully the value of the bargin will become clear - there is no 12 hour boxset being released - so if you order it, and they honor the order, you will get the 32 hour boxset that is being released. As the RRP of the new boxset is £59.99, i would say that £32.99 is quite a bargin :D
Ah. Well in that case I don`t think I`ll bother. They won`t honour.
Oh, incidentally, this :D is the most disturbing web smiley I`ve ever seen. It looks a like a mutant overbite.
Bad News I`m afraid This is the e-mail I received today:
Thank you for your email
The `Jonathan Creek` box set only contains series 1 and 2.
Kind regards,

In that case it must be loaded with extra features....compare the VHS box (specified as series 1&2) that has a runtime of 634mins, with the DVD boxset (unspecified as to which episodes are there) which has a runtime of 1340 minutes... either way, this is still a bargin as the rrp of the dvd set on the www.bbcshop.co.uk site is £59.99, and play.com have it for £32.99. I have pre-ordered from play, and ill just wait and see what happens.
Damn BBC have put the release date back AGAIN. Only 2 weeks this time fortunately. I do wish they would stop doing that though >:(
