40GB HDD

1.44MB FDD
10/100 LAN (for broadband)
ProSavage8 2D/3D Graphics on board
On Board Sound

Retail packaging with user manual & quick set-up poster

I am pretty sure that you could get a good camera and all in one printer and still have change from the £332 difference

Hmm, well £227.99 plus Vat is £268.00, cheapest I have seen an all in one print/scan/cop is £100 so that makes £368.00.
I forgot to mention the Tesco one came with a 17 " monitor so that`s another £100 at least - £468.00, plus a DVD writer and a CD writer, let`s say another £100 for round figures - £568.
Then the camera.
Personally, I think I`d rather pop down to my local Tesco`s and pick it up in the box.
I`m not saying there are not other good PC deals out there, I normally get bits from a computer fair so have no need for a complete package, I just thought it was a good package at a good price from a well known retailer.

If its the same one as my local tescos, I think its a Celeron processor rather than an Athlon in which case, you shouldnt touch it with a s***ty stick.
RE: Cheap 2.4 pc package in my local Tesco`s
Nope, the one in my Tesco`s definitely said Athlon.

Even so, if you buy a Tiny PC you`re asking to get bum raped by the company. They`re a piece of crap; my girlfriends dad sent his into them to get upgraded and the lost it! They found it a couple of months later and returned it without the upgrades that he`d paid for in the first place!
BTW, I`m sure Carrera do the same kind of package as this but with better specs; though you`re probably not getting the camera (which is undoubtedly cack anyway).

Actually, it might have been a Time computer not Tiny.
I didn`t spend an hour looking at the details, just glanced at it - thought it seemed like a good buy so I thought I`d pass it on.
If you don`t want one, don`t buy it - I didn`t post it here to argue about the pro`s & cons of makes, types of processor etc - just thought it might be of interest to someone.
Next time I won`t bother.

Which is why I added the other details not to knock your original post but to offer what might be a better alternative for some , depends on what they are looking for - like you say your deal included a monitor and no doubt a load of software which would be perfect for a first time buyer but not for someone who just wants to keep their monitor and upgrade their pc.

RE: Cheap 2.4 pc package in my local Tesco`s
Went into tescos to get a sarnie today.
It appears they do a time one and a tiny one. Time is Athlon (xp2400), Tiny is Celery (2.4ghz).
The time one doesnt look bad, tbh, for a PC you can walk into a supermarket and stick in your trolley.
