Page 1 of Bush DVD Player for around £20???

A friend of mine has recently run this little scam to great effect...


Take out one of the Carol Smilie BonusBuilder Savings Plans advertisied every day on tele or in the press. It is the one advertising a free DVD Player.

Start it at £10 per month, and then cancel it once you receive the `free dvd player` - My mate waited for 2 payments to go out, received the DVD Player in the Post, and then he cancelled the Savings Plan!!

Ethically wrong perhaps, but I tell you it`s a great little player, very slim, and probably has loads of hacks to make multi region, etc.Nice for a first or second player in your home!

Anyone else tried this or a similar scam????

I am sure the Terms and Conditions will state you have to return the DVD Player

Not according to my friend who has just done this! Has now had his player free of any monthly payments for 3 months!
