Just found this player on Amazon.com for the above uk price, Yet same player on Amazon.co.uk is £299.00, That is on hell of a difference in my opinion :o

I am not sure on the import custom charges or delivery costs, But it still is no way near our rip off prices.

I presume it could be hacked from R1 to Multiregion

You are also likely to be clobbered by HM`s dreaded import duty, as the item is worth more than £18.

I bought this player last summer from Wal-Mart in Florida. Its plays everything, dvd(-r/+r) sadly though its region 1 only. You can play some region 2 discs if you press the No 2 button down on the remote as you close the top lid.

I have been told that this player can be updated with a software download from:
www.initialdvd.com

It may fix this problem,
