Come to think of it Ive seen this unit knocking around as well, didnt pay much attention to it, thought it might have be another crappy overpriced base unit for Comet but the spec doesnt seem so bad, price aint bad either!

Am I right in thinking this is using the older type of memory and not DDR Ram?

must be DDR, they must be mad running a 2.6GHz on old type memory.

could ring them up but i doubt they have a clue some of them that work in comet are jokers.

well here`s a link to the spec though it doen`t specifically mention the type of memory

What do you think guys as a basic pc that will mainly be used for internet use, educational stuff, but not much for games? I also do a bit of video editing, only basic stuff, would 40gb be big enough?

Buy a copy of Micro Mart if you want to see cheap P.C`s.

You could pick up a P.C from one of the advertisers in there, same price, same spec, but with a decent video card. Stay well clear of integrated graphics. And i know you will say `I dont play games` but everyone gets loaned a copy of championship manager once in their lives and every little helps ;)

On board graphics arent that bad. Was running an on board GeForce4MX for a year and still playing the latest games.
