Disney DVDs - Buy 2 Save £10

pointsofview (Competent) posted this on Friday, 2nd April 2004, 04:33

Currently available everywhere, and you don`t need me to tell you all that invariably, all stores; Tesco, Woolworths et al are charging the full RRP of £19.99 on most individual films. (and I wonder why said offer was not instated here earlier... ;) )

RIP OFF MERCHANTS.

Avoid such deals at all costs as they are not all they seem. They don`t even sound too good to be true and they rip you off in the process. D`oh!

I think the best I could do was Finding Nemo and Dinosaur at £15.99 each save £10. Wow! Dinosaur has a retail of £22.99, some say £15.99...

I`ve had better.

It`s only a point of view...

Totally agree. >:(

Last year the buy 2 save £10 deal came at the same time as Woolworths reduced all their Disney films. Got some amazing bargains ( egToy Story 2 for 99p). :D

If you want some Disney at reasonable prices tryhttp://www.dvd.co.uk :/

Try Disney Store website www.disneydvd.co.uk/shop. I bought two. It is cheaper than Play.com but shop around to if you can get it cheaper. Try www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk. If you order at disney shop before 12 noon, it could arrive the next day.

If £10.00 discount doesn`t appear try getting another DVD.

I expect its already been said but play are selling disney singly at a reduced price - typically 12.99 (some at less though). This tends to work out cheaper than the buy 2 get £10 off, plus you can buy as many or as few as you desire without having to buy in multiples of 2.

Just bought Finding Nemo £15.99 & Toy Story £9.99 from WHSmiths.
Total price £15.98
So WHSmiths gave me a penny for buying Toy Story :D :D
