Cheap Sony TV package deals at John Lewis
Having missed all the TV bargains at Skybuy :( I have been looking around for a value for money package consisting of widescreen TV and as many `extras` as possible. As a result I have found the attached at John Lewis, which look like bargains ... apart from the fact that they are currently out of stock! :/ However JL promise they will mail you when they are back in again. Looks a bargain deal to me.

For that money you could get yourself a better TV and Home Cinema kit. I just bought a new set and everything I read indicated that Sony have fallen way behind when it comes to TVs. As well as being technically inferior, they are generally overpriced.
I just got a Toshiba 32ZD26P for £679.95 delivered (with stand), and at that price you could decide on your own DVD player/Home Cinema combo. It`s a great set, which just happens to accept NTSC prog scan. This eliminates so many NTSC artefacts (with a suitable VD player) that I`d find it hard to go back to a regular set now.
