RE: Bargain Basement Offers at Play
Thanks for the information.
I bought The Beatles - Let It Be...Naked (2CD).
I stopped listening to music a few years ago, so this is the first CD I have purchased since Saint Etienne - Places to Visit in 1999.
Some good bargains there on Play - the best of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds CD is only £6.99 at CDWOW too.

My local MVC store were advertising this as well as The Boatman`s Call and No More Shall We Part as part of their 5 CDs for £20 promotion but there weren`t any in stock.
I`ve just checked the MVC website and they have The Best Of, The Boatman`s Call and No More Shall We Part for £4.99 each.
4 or 5 quid for these CDs, I think, is incredible value. Just look at the user reviews :o

In the Woolworths sale they have `The Best Of Five Star` for £4.99. Featuring classics such as Rain Or Shine and System Addict. There were loads in my local Woolies.
If it`s the best of 5-Star does it include footage of them being sworn at in front of the nation on Going Live in the 1980s? :D

Hrrmpphh!
I thought I might be leaving myself open to a sarcy comment or two.
Don`t knock Nick Cave. He`s regarded by many top critics and musicians as being one of the few truly great singer/songwriters e.g. Chris Martin of Coldplay is a huge fan.
Cave is a prime example that the best music doesn`t necessarily equate with great chart success. :p
Look at the "Five Star" ;) Amazon customer reviews for The Boatman`s Call.
I`m glad that he hasn`t "sold out" and tried to make his music sound more commercial.
p.s. Thanks for the woolies tip :)
