dont know if this has been mentioned before, i have seen some at musiczone for around £2, i got a few of the original flash gordons, but most are ones i hadnt heard of. i saw this there today, i havent seen it there before.

i think it was on bbc2 a few weeks ago but i only saw a few minutes of it, so dont know what its like. there are no extras and its in fullscreen but for under 2 quid im not bothered as long as the films ok.

Hi cirdan.

Is this the Sir John Betjeman "Metroland"? I think I caught it on BBC4 on a few weeks ago (maybe it was BBC2).

Definately worth it for under £2. Was it the DVD (VHS)?

I think there`s a MUSICZONE in London`s Oxford Street - is that where you got yours? Will make a trip into central London for that!!

Thanks,

F_M

sorry for not replying sooner. ive been out all day.

http://www.uk.imdb.com/title/tt0119665/

there is a review lower down at this link which i havent read as i havent seen the film yet.

it stars emily watson and christian bale and looks to be set in the 70`s. i got it because i like smaller films and the price, so even if its not that good i havent paid that much, it looks ok though, the average review mark on imdb is over 6.0. its on dvd.
