Page 1 of G1 Sky Package Is Back

hi all,
didn`t see this post anywhere else, apologies if i missed it.

the sky G1 package is available again. i have phoned up and changed from the full package (£41 mth) to the G1 package (£34 mth)

You get all sports channels, movies 2,4,6,8 AND the disney channels. I was told on the phone that i would not get the disney channels, but they are still active on my system.

If, like myself, you have sky+ the £10 sky+ subscription is still waived as you will have more than 2 premium channels.

being dumb here, but when you say movies 2 4 6 8 does this mean you dont get 1 3 5 7 9??

That is exactly what i mean.

to put it simpler you pay the sky sports subscription price of £34 and you get sky movies 2,4,6,8 and the disney channels for free. (will advise if my disney channels go off in the next 24hrs)

Whats the cost then without movies 2468, is it £34?

Thanks for the heads up Cymru78, Ive been waiting for this to come back. Ive not been on it before mind, is it just a case of phoning Sky and asking for G1 or is it called something else?

Superb - cheers for this. I missed out last time so was chuffed when I just called up and made the switch from just sport to Sport + half the movies. I just quoted G1 and the guy said he heard it was back on but said it wasn`t yet on his system fully.

I was paying £33 before but it is now £34 so £1 increase. If I only watch one film a month then I suppose it`s worth it. Wonder how long it will last for?

I`ve been on the G1 package for a while.
I`m paying £33,which is what I was paying for Sky Sports world.
In theory getting Sky Movies 2,4,6 and 8 free is great.
In reality they`re pointless.
The films are truly truly awful. :/
A friend of mine phoned to get G1 at the same time I did.
For some inexplicable reason he got movies 1,3,5 and 7,which are the much better channels to have.
I phoned SKY to complain about this and they could not explain why he got those channels.
I didn`t want to land him in it,so I didn`t take it any further.
He gets all the good films,I get unheard of pish.

Was on this package before I suspended my subs over the summer. When I came back in time for the footy season they said that it was no longer available! So this is good news, thanks for the tip off, for an extra quid I get 4 movie channels - it`s not much but worth it...

The movie channels 2 4 6 8 are bloody useless never mind the no ending repeats of films like chain reaction, but what about the prime time movies that really should be tv movies. Plus the all the good premiers happen on the other channels, these even numbered channels are for rubbish.

Has anyone asked the question to sky about just getting the odd numbered channels ??

and i dont getthe disney channels either !!!!
