Page 1 of Panasonic DMR-E55 DVD Recorder - Costco

Just been in Costco and saw the above mentioned DVD recorder on special offer at £139.99 + VAT (£164.48 inc VAT).

Upon checking my booklet of discount vouchers, it says it should be £25 off the original price of £199.99 + VAT, which is obviously £174.99 + VAT (205.61 inc VAT). The price I saw was on one of the cards they have hanging above the display. They had piles of them just inside the door at the Derby store.

This looks good, how much is annual membership?

Any one got the unlock code yet?

It has to be modified.

Looked in at reading this morning, Price was about £189 inc VAT, so I left joining up until around Xmas. They did have Tosh Projector the one in currys at 999 for aprox 750 inc VAT so approx 25% off. Want one but no money at present!

You can get it made Multi-Region by `hiring` a chipped remote for about £20 and then returning it after use.

No Macro off though I`m afraid, although they do offer a Macro Off Scart lead with other `features` too if you know what I mean ;)
