No picture to tell, but it sounds like the same one Kwik Save did a couple of weeks ago. See my posts on this thread for my comments. I thought it was good value for the money. :)

Mark. :)

If you know someone who works at Somerfield, get them to buy it for you.

They usually get a 10% discount with their employee store card but, this week, they get 20% discount.

Electricals included.

Hmmm, have since read not a lot of good stuff about this camera. Will see what it`s like in store first.

I got one last year for my son.

That one only has 14 meg memory.

This one has 28 meg.

Suppose it all depends what you want.

The one I got has been well used by everyone in the family.

It takes as good a picture as a normal £40 - £50 35mm film camera(never had a dearer one so can`t compare. Yeah, I know, cheapscate!!!!).

Can be used as a web cam.

It takes video shots, which look good on a PC, but slightly pixelated after putting on DVD and watching on a big screen tv. Still watchable though, and great for those moments where you don`t have a video camera handy.

Can also be used just as a portable hard drive to transport files or small programs from one pc to another.

For the price, I`d recommend it to anyone.

You usually get what you pay for, but with this, I`d say you get more.

Hi there! I saw an advert for this camera in a Somerfield leaflet.

Basically what really interests me about it is the built-in Voice Recorder. I have been look at other digital Voice recorders, and mp3 players which also do that, etc, and I noticed this camera. If the voice recording does what I want it to then this could be a good buy as I`d get a camera too!

So, those who have one of these cameras, could you tell me:-

1. How much voice recording you can do? 20 minutes? 1 hour? 2 hours?
2. What is the voice quality like? As good as a tape deck, or rather fuzzy?
3. Are there different qualities, eg. Normal, and `LP`?
4. Can the voice recording be transferred to a PC in some format, eg. WAV file or MP3?
5. The advert says it has 28MB card, which sounds like it should store a reasonable amount of speech, if not can extra cards be bought?

I`m keen to use it for recording quite large amounts, eg. an hour.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks!
