Im shopping for a small lcd tv for my mum and dad for xmas. Have been looking at the
LG RZ15LA70. Its about £300 but I have found it for £259 including v.a.t and delivery.

Is this a bargain? Is it a good buy?

Thanks

I`m using one right now xeno666. :) Primarily, it was bought to replace the old crappy CRT PC monitor and the fact that it has a TV was really a bonus.

The TV quality is not bad, although we`ve only got it rigged-up to a cheap indoor aerial at the mo. Refresh rate is fine with little blurring, colour is good and contrast is OK. There isn`t a single dead pixel either. Using a DVD as a source, it`s much better although I`m not really that convinced that LCD/TFT/Plasma technology currently runs anywhere near the quality of a really good CRT.

As a PC screen it`s fantastic - much, much brighter, sharper and, oddly far more accurate colour that the old monitor, which is great with the amount of photo manipulation I do!

We got ours on a price match with Richer Sounds @ John Lewis at £299 about two months ago, so I`d say for £259, thats good value. Mind you, you get the five year TV guarantee with JL - that`s got to be worth £40! 8)
