Just got back from the MAD sale at Next!

Had loads of MP3 Players really cheap - 256mb for £29 or it may have been £19 for 128mb

Go up to the `Blokes` department and have a look at the electrical bits.

You must be one of the early ones there when they opened at 6:00. Within 2 hours all the best stuff was gone, a friend who works in Next just told me.

Got there for 5:30am and yes the best stuff was gone in the first 2hrs.

Me & Mrs Me spent £770 needless to say that when we got back and tried on the clothes about £150`s worth is going back. Worth getting up early for but boy was it cold waiting in the 200yrd queue! Best bargain two pairs of black shoes for £14.99 & £19.99 was £45 and £40 + Pure wool suit was £150, paid £75.

Some great bargains in Debenhams today, but nothing to do with DVD`s = Saucepans, Denby and suitcases in the `Early Bird` Sale!

You people are much more deicated than me! didn`t get up to Next till 12, they only had 64mb MP3 players (at 20 quid). But i did pick up a nice new watch for 20 quid reduced from £45.

Someone told me that they just use the excuse to get rid of the old tat that won`t normally shift but I got some nice jeans last year for £15 quid down form £40. I gather they also replenish sale stock each morning if there is some out the back.

TBH the only time I buy anything from Next is in the sale. Most of the old TAT and seconds ends up at Choice. Although they do stuff from other people most of the stock is from Next, with either the label removed or crossed out, but most of the time they don`t bother.
