The laptop they have is poor value. For the price you can buy one with 15 inch widescreen, 512MB RAM and 60GB hard disc.
The CDRs are a reasonable price but once again cheaper can be had.
Where can you get 100 CDRs for less than 9.99?
I think that Tesco`s are still doing 100 of their own brand cdrs for £9.97 (two for one offer)
Gary,
£4.70 for 50 CDRs from Novatech
£7.99 for 100 Ridisk brand CDR from Ebuyer
£8.99 for Philips brand or £9.99 for TDK brand from Ebuyer
RE: mr data 100 cd`rs for 9.99
Except you`ve got to add postage costs onto those EBuyer prices, so that will push the price above £9.99. If you need some in a hurry, then £9.99 `on the high street` aint that bad.
Errrm, Dean, I think you will find that 100 Ridisk CD-Rs is cheaper from Ebuyer even after including postage! As for the Philips and TDK branded discs they are £1 and £2 more expensive respectively when p&p is accounted for. I think you will find branded CDRs are a lot more than that on the high street.
What`s more, for the original poster, who may be looking for a laptop too, he can buy a much better one on Ebuyer for the same price (I forgot to mention in my reply that a DVD rewriter is also included in the laptop).
Errm, Mike :)
100 Ridisc 52xcdr @ Ebuyer,
£7.99 + £1.99 shipping + 1.75 vat total = £11.73 :(
100 Mr. Data 52xcdr @ toys r us £9.99.
No postage, 10 min walk.
So as well as saving £1.74, you get a bit of excersise ;)
Yep,sorry, my mistake. VAT isn`t included in the price.
