Page 1 of Ezydvd boxsets and customs

I know this isnt strictly a bargain but l i emailed ezy concerning customs on boxsets etc as i had pre ordered hanibal/sl boxset here is their reply

Hi

We generally mark all of our international parcels as P.O.S which in our terms means point of sale and small parckage. We never seem to have a great deal of trouble with these getting to our customers. We have also decided that we will be marking the value of these sets as only $40 AU which should also help.

I`ve seen some pretty stupid postings , but this one takes the proverbial biscuit. Do you really think that the only people who read these postings are us bargain hunters!! At least if the company are `rumbled` we`ll know who to blame!!!!! Get a grip!

Grip What ?Dont talk bull***t they dont have teams of custom officers reading every forum etc.You`ve been watching too many bond films.and yes the only people who probably read this forum are bargain hunters. also if you search the forums about customs there are plenty of threads about which etailers get around customs and how. Just look at the (Importing Box set from EzyDVD) thread as an example.

I`ve found quite a few bargins from looking in here and i highly recommend it. On the topic of customs...well i think roger james is a little paranoid. Although here`s my theory...both "roger" and "james" both relate to the bond films. James as in james bond...hohoho, and roger and in roger moore who played mr.bond a few times. There you have it!

Well, obviously some slight disagreement with my opinion there. Don`t suppose anyone actually agrees with me?? Still, good to stir the sh*t every now and again. Mind you, if it get`s any more vociferous i`ll consider emigrating to Oz myself!! And don`t think i`m gonna send any disks back to you lot of ne`er-do-wells`!!!! ;-)
