Somerfield will be selling a Medion Sat nav system for £229 as from wednesday 27th July Features are as below.

[*]Satellite Navigation system and DigitalOrganiser PNA150GPS

[*]GPS Car Navigation - vioce assisted directions - real time map display/directions

[*]Car dashboard/windscreen holder and 12v car charger

[*]United Kingdom road maps included

[*]Integrated GPS antenna no cables or boxes required

[*]Transfer from vehicle to vehicle

[*]Duals as a pocket pc with e-mail word outlook express IE etc includes data cable

Kwik Save will be doing the same system from the 27th but might be cheaper at £199

i`ve been delivering to ALDI stores this week (stoke area) and they are doing it for £229 subject to being in stock.The people i was delivering for gave me one of these units to use/learn the run gotta say it`s a great bit of kit well worth it :x

Does anyone know if any of the in-car sat Nav systems currently on the market allow you to input the destination as an OS grid reference instead of an address? TIA

There`s a post on MSE saying "The one in the pic is actually the Medion MD95000 which is a Mio 168 (sells in Staples for over £300) The link below is to the Mio website whare more info can be found."

Was the Mio 168 the one Lidl was selling for £250 last year?

I`ve just checked this out in a local somerfields. It is the MIO badged version, which is the same as aldi stocked in Decmeber (I got one then)
