Not being up with this technology would this work with most (all) digital cameras? Ive got a Samsung A7

Unfortunately there is no single format for memory cards; this is the SD format, others include Compact Flash (CF), xD and Sony Memory Stick.

According to the spec here http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPF-Digimax_A7 the A7 accepts SD cards.

As a 7 Mpix camera it`s sure to accept a 1Gb card; people with older cameras might find it worth checking in their documentation or searching the makers web site to see if it specifies a maximum memory card size.

That is a good price for 1GB SD, made me check the 2GB card (£47.31 but no free delivery)

www.mymemory.co.uk have their own brand 2GB at £44.99 + £3.95 delivery. A bit more per GB but it is a 66X speed card.

Incidentally mymemory want £29.99 for their 1GB card.

I bought a Viking 256mb card about 18 months ago....when it arrived the sticker was not squarely on the the card and underneath was the word......TOSHIBA :)

Incidentally, that 256mb card has worked perfectly and I`ve just ordered the 1gb one so cheers to the OP
