Page 1 of King Kong cheap at Morissons too!

You probably already all know this, but I thought it was worth a mention anyway. King Kong is £9.99 in Morissons too. I`ve picked it up myself today. I`ve not seen it before, so I`m hoping for the best! Usually I hang on for Extended Editions etc, but I thought seeing as the movie is already long at 3 hours that it seemed worth the plunge.

is it only me or do you guys think that 3hrs is an incredibly long time for a film.

I`ve had this discussion with my missus last night. After we watched Speilberg`s excellent War of the Worlds, I tried to convince her to watch KK with me, but she was having none of it, due to the running time purely. "It`s a 3 hour movie about a bloody monkey, I`m not watching it"! Myself I`m quite happy to watch a film at that length, and Peter Jackson has proved himself as capable of sustaining your interest throughout that kind of running time.

But then again, an extended version would surely be just taking the p***! What could he possibly have omitted from a 3 hour movie? Anything extra would be self indulgent surely, and we should really be not funding that. It`s not like the Extended Lord of the Rings is it? There was very good reason for those.

Mark, couldn`t you try the "it`s a 2 hour + movie about a girl with a fat bum" next time your wife wants to watch Bridget Jones?

I think this could go somewhere....any more pithy review?
