Whilst reading my new copy of What Video&TV,i came across the article about the Alba DVD 113 model, and thought what a bargain,My dad is in the market for a cheap and chearful Dvd player,I duly went to my local Argos store and picked it up ,on arriving back at my dads i plugged it in and switched it on , i then inserted the region 1 Mummy returns and was able to watch it no problem, what a bargain no handset hack ,no chipping to be done, region 1 straight out the box all for under £100,i would say to others, if you want a nice DVD for under £100 go to your local Argos, you cant go wrong .James

So what if no CD-R, you`ve got a PC have you not !!

Spend the £10 you`ve saved on strong cheap cider and you shouldn`t notice the difference, if there is any !!

I take it the Cyberhome "shop" has a 16 day no quibble money back guarantee ? Thought not ! Still if if your Dad`s happy with the quality
keep it..... but try a few problematic DVDs first (Toy Story, T2 special edition to name a couple)

Make sure the cider is 7.5% alcaholic content, if not use it for cooking.
