Page 1 of Digital camera @ Lidl

Not exactly a DVD bargain I know, but while paying a visit to one of my local Lidl stores this evening, I picked up a flyer for an Aiptek Pencam Trio, which, apparently, most Lidl stores will be selling from next Thursday, 25th October. It comes with about 6 separate software programs, has a USB connector, and a stand to allow it to be used as a Webcam. It also works as a carryable digital camera, and it will take video footage as well. Maximum resolution for still shots is 640x480, and will hold 26 photos at that res.(107 at 320x240). The cost will be only £39.00 per set!! Not the greatest resolution I know, but pretty good for almost `pocket money` prices! Anyone interested I suggest should get themselves down to a store early on Thursday.

on a vaugly related note I bought the Creative labs camera simualr to this sounds (except minehas more memory I think) - I was disapointed by mine - it`s very awkward to get the focus right because it`s manual and there`s no preview screen but the worst tihng I found was that it was very hard to find a light level it actualy liked (either too bright or dark)
I would reccomend trying it first if you can because it probably uses the same CMOS CCD sensor.

Hi,My hubby went to our local Lidl today and got talking to the manager of the shop.
My hubby mentioned the digital camera to him and he said it was the first he had heard of this offer being sold in Lidl.
He said he usually knows a week in advance about offers and doesn`t know anything about it.
Do you know of any of the stores that are doing this offer in the Merseyside region?
Sounds like a good offer if I can get my hands on one.

I bought the Kodak EZ200 webcam, which also acts as a 640x480 webcam, and I`ve been reasonably impressed with it - no flash or anything, but what do you expect? A bit more pricy at around £70, but then I needed a webcam anyway.

popped to my local lidl this morning (cardiff) at 9.00am and bought two,one for me and one as a xmas pressie,someone i know went down at 10.30 and they had sold out?
