Free Doctor Who Audio Adventure available for LEGAL download
Well, I`m assuming it`s legal anyway.
I`ve no idea if it`s any good as I`ve only downloaded the thing so far and haven`t had time to listen, but (as Marge Simpson once said), "the price is right." And it`ll give you something to fill the Doctor Who gap during the two weeks between telly episodes.
"Originally available as a limited edition double CD in 2003, a full-cast audio drama of The Nightmare Fair, written by Graham Williams for the original, abandoned version of season twenty-three in 1985, features the Sixth Doctor, Peri and the Celestial Toymaker. It stars Mark J Thompson as the Toymaker and Nigel Peever as the narrator, and is now made available by producer Rob Dunlop as a free download here."

Oh my God... I`m a Chav!

Thanks for the heads up. I`m downloading. We always listen to audio books on long journeys with the kids in the car.
Keeps `em quiet for hours! :D

That guy`s 6th Doctor impression is a bit overcooked, still it`s a pretty entertaining listen!
Jay: So you`re the man who didn`t know if he had a pimple or a boil!
Homer: It was a gummy bear.

I assumed it was Colin Baker doing the Doc! If it weren`t, it fooled me. If it was Nicola Bryant doing Peri (!) it sounded like it had been recorded at a different time than the rest of it, maybe over the phone!!
Still, it was a good story etc.
thanks for the link :)

I`m glad people enjoyed it. It was purely a fan production, so Peri isn`t being played by Nicola Bryant. If you unzip the proggy called Libraries.exe, then you`ll find a load of information about the character of The Celestial Toymaker and about this production.
I seem to remember that in the mid 80s there was even a one-off back-up strip in Doctor Who Magazine featuring the Celestial Toymaker, very much in the mould of a 2000ad Future Shock or an episode of The Scary Door.
Turns out it`s man!
