Tomb Raider Anniversary pre order price £21.99 Link Here or pay £24.99 HERE & you get a free Lara Croft Statue (Oh dear...) for £24.99
I really want this game, but I've been disapointed too many times by the tomb raider series to buy this without seeing a few reviews first, so I`m gonna wait.
Tomb Raider one on the PS1 is still my all time fave game, but I don't like it enough to want a Lara Croft Statue! :)

FWIW, it looks superb on the ads during Heroes on SciFi channel.

There are several lengthy reviews in current issues of the Official Playstation 2 Mag etc....

Worth trotting off for a browse in WHSmith!

I haven`t bought it (yet!) but reading between the lines, it`s gorgeous to look at, is more action based than the puzzle solving original and whilst not without some flaws it is a welcome return to form after the disappointing recent instalments.

Yeah, i saw that as well, but do you think that is footage from the PS2 game?
Seems more likely that's from a top of the range gamers PC.
even if it is PS2 footage, & It looks that great, i hope the gameplay is the same

and PSP

GameSpot liked it. apparently It`s one of those games,if you liked it before, you`ll like it now. It just uses the new engine from the most recent game, to do the original game, with a few slight changes here and there.

It was interesting to see side by side comparisons of PSOne original, and this ps2 remake. You can tell a room is the same room, but it looks different since rather than a gray stone slab, you`ll see a nicely textured stone slab etc
