Don`t bother - they make you wait around all day, the whole show is contrived (ie. the stars are given the answers over an earpiece) and you rue the fact you wasted 3 hours of your night being bored out of you skull. Avoid at all costs.

I wasn`t aware it was a quiz show.

That includes anyone who may turn on channel 4 on a Friday night.

Obviously its not, but there`s a segment when the star has to answer questions for a fan, and it`s all fed thru an earpiece.

Used to watch the show regularly and since joining the audience have never watched the programme again - in fact both my sister and I steer well clear on a Friday night. Awful.

PS - i`ve been to quite a few show recordings and this was the worst - inc. the Johnny Vaughn Show (remember that dross), still it`s better than the Friday Night Project.

But if you found it funny before you knew, how does the knowledge that it`s scripted make it less funny?

Well let`s see - rehearsed off the cuff jokes that are repeated endlessly to get the right shot, audience laughter had to be drummed up every time they made a so-called joke - imagine being forced to laugh 20 times - it`s not that fun!

For every 30 minutes of hilarity (in your eyes) there`s 2 hours of filming with the poor audience suffering throughout.

I could go on and on - but go if you want to......

Completely missed the point I was trying to make. It might well be boring to sit through while they`re making it, but when you watch it on TV you don`t have to worry about that. If you found it funny before, why not now? Most pre-recorded TV shows go through this sort of process.
