Do Warner Bros do nice packaging for R1 or R4?
I hate the tacky covers they have on LA confidential and The Matrix - are there nicer covers on other regions for these movies?
Cheers
Dan

Cheers Guys!
Yeah paper can be cool - it`s just the plastic fastener at the side I don`t like.
Best wishes

Exactly how is this a bargain?
RE: Do Warner Bros do nice packaging for R1 or R4?
Actually, since WB use such pathetic packaging, they can afford to undercut the competition, and thus ANY mention of WB discs is a reference to a bargain... unless you want decent extras, in which case, with rare exceptions, no WB purchase would be a bargain at any price.
(Batman movies spring to mind.)

The packaging on R1 WB is basically the same as R2. The big difference is that most R1 WB DVDs are re-formatted in 4:3 pan/scan, and are usually very nasty transfers. The R2 equivalents are usually 1.85:1, but the transfers are often just as bad. I have R2 of `Falling Down` which is in 2.35:1 but the picture quality is worse than my VHS copy.

I`ve got about 8 Warner Discs (most are 2.35:1 anamorphic) and have to say that the picture quality on all of them is fine.
