Is £32.99 for the Laurel & Hardy 21 disc collection cheap enough?

Jitendar Canth (Reviewer) posted this on Sunday, 2nd August 2009, 16:37

Available at Play

It`s a few pennies cheaper at Azamon, but...

Finally, finally getting around to putting my old VHS recordings onto disc, and I figured it would be less hassle, and better quality just to get the boxset, and put up with the heinous colour versions

I`ve had this set for a few years and never watched the coloured versions as their not meant to be (glad they`re just an extra).

It was worth it at full price. Stop dicking around and buy it! ;)

Oh my God, I have lusted after that collection for so long. That was the quickest impulse buy I`ve ever made.

Thanks for the heads up! 8)

I wish I`d waited and bought it now rather than hunting around and buying them individually! Before you buy it, sign up with Quidco to get that discount money.

Might be better packaged from Amazon, I really like play but the packaging on there larger items is usually a blue plastic bag :( , then you are relying on the post office to keep the box in one piece!

Well, it arrived from Play this morning, in perfect condition. Boxed in a snug cardboard box, then in a bag, and delivered by courier.

I am one very happy bunny! 8)

My pristine collection arrived today too. Of course I had to check the 21 disc salute to see if they played.

I think my summer is sorted... :D
