Both almost identicle, except the R1 version features a headbutt from Jango Fett that was deleted from the R2 to give it it`s PG rating. Also you can get the R1 for about £12-13 wheras the R2 will no doubt be around the £16-20 mark.

R1 IMO

What about the region 4 version, does that contain the headbutt scene, or is it identical to the R2?

R4 disks usually have the deleted headbutts left in e.g. Matrix fight scenes were complete on R4 whereas headbutts were deleted in R2.

I`d go for R4

The headbutt scene won`t be in any region as it was cut from all prints of the movie!

How do you know this?
I`ve seen this infamous headbutt scene, and its hardly even noticable, so why did they bother?

The Head Butt scene was cut by the BBFC. So i cannot see why it would be cut from the R or R4 releases. An a quick check on dvdpricecheck and dvdcompare state that the R1 will include the head butt.

Indeed it will only be cut in the UK. But the film hasn`t passed through the BBFC for Video classification, and there is a possibility the cut may be waived, unlikely but possible. I`ll go for R4, because NTSC is S***E.
