Terminator 2 Problems on my Alba 103!

Poacher (Harmless) posted this on Saturday, 16th December 2000, 01:34

Finally got it....seemed to be worth the wait, but then about every 15-20 mins on the same scenes, it fecks up.

It will play the scene.....finish it..then go back to the same scene..finish it go back to same scene.....finish it then carry on!

Eventually it starts stuttering and on one occasion it crasehed.

Is this to do with me player being to poor for the film? Its the R1 version btw.

I havent had any problems with any of my other films.

dont mean to be funny but your machine is crap! i used to own one but quickly got rid after i realised what a bollock id made thinking a cheap dvd player would be good. i had EXACTLY the same probs with T2 and also probs with the matrix, Go! and x-files season 1 ( the dark images appear green). in the end i was fed up of buying a disc and praying the damn thing would work so bought a new player. its worth investing a bit more money for a better player for what its worth.....

If it`s the Ultimate Edition you got:

Did you not read the little warning note included in the dvd box

The disc uses seamless branching so 3 versions of the film can be included on the disc, simply put iy holds one full length movie but only holds the extra bits needed for the other 2 versions, the disc is then designed to jump between these versions depending on which version you choose to watch, many budget players have problems with these discs (normally caused by a lack of memory, which means that the player can`t remember which version you selected)
