wharfdale 750.screen splits/problems with new david bowie dvd..HELP!

2 dvds..concerts[one from usa/one from brazil..but no region]screen splits into two??anyone else have this problem.also the new david bowie best of [uk]freezes half way through,sometimes track 5 sometimes 6.bought from richer sounds 11 months ago.discs play ok in my computer.used hack instructions as per normal...HELP IDEAS!!thanks
