Page 1 of elm street box set (R1)

after christmas i bought the R2 boxset of the first 5 nightmare on elm street films...unfortunately i had to return it as none of the films would play properly on my machine (scan sc-2000). the problem was the "jump to a nightmare" feature, when i played a film properly every time it reached the end of a `nightmare` it would return to the menu automatically...

now, i`ve noticed that the R1 set is 8 discs...all 7 films and a bonus disc...

will i have the same problem with this set? also, where would be the cheapest place to order it from?

I have the sc2000 and the r1 box set and i have had no probs- what firmware are u running on your machine?

the r2 set of films was insulting- the r1 shows what a box set should contain.

ain`t got a clue which firmware i`m using...but its an early machine, about 2-3 years old...

saw the r2 set cheap in an hmv sale...wish i`d never bothered with it....r1 set looks amazing in comparison.
