RE: Will they relsease a Batman Special Edition
I heard a rumour ages ago sayin there was goin to be, but havnt heard nethin for ages. I wish there was tho cos i love this film. Would be good as a 2disc because surely theres loads of stuff out there from it (making of, deleted scenes etc because it was a big film at the time) Id like if they did a box set, even though 3 and 4 are a bit rubbish. Wasnt batman & robin a higher rating in america? There seems to be some obvious cuts in the UK version. Hopefully there will be one announced this year, itd be one of my most awaited, along with Demolition Man and The Lost Boys if they ever release decent DVDs of them! Damn Warner Bros!

I hope so. Most Burton films have been done well, if not spectaculary on DVD. But the Batman DVD is bad, in terms of extras (or lack of) and presentation.
RE: Will they relsease a Batman Special Edition
According to the bbfc website (www.bbfc.co.uk/) `Batman & Robin` was passed uncut, but the previous movie `Batman Forever` was cut for cinema release by 1min 38secs. Although it lists no cuts for the video release, only the cut version could have been submitted to them for video release.
RE: Will they relsease a Batman Special Edition
This title must be close to having a special edition. The vanilla release is always under a tenner and that could be an indication that something is in the pipeline. Personally I`d only like to see Burton`s two Batman films get an S.E. box set. I don`t want to waste any money on Joel Schumacher`s pathetic additions to the franchise!
