If a film has been released on R1 and R2 is there any advantage in buying one or the other. e.g. I`m about to buy Armageddon

P.S. I have a Sony 335.

someyimes there are slight differences like the R1 version of The Frightners I have just ordered has an Anamorphic transfer, the R2 has the same extras but is not anamorphic.

On the other hand the R2 Uk version of Sleepy Hollow has animated menu`s. the R1 has not.

Generally R1 tend to be better due to almost no censorship cuts being made. The best site I have found for comparisons is dvdrumble.co.uk

They seem to always get it right and it`s a cool site for reviews as well. Check it out.
