is there any way to disable macrovision on a chipped philips 730, any help would be aprreciated

I have a Chipped 730 I did it myself with a chip from ` linkonline.co.uk ` . my Video is a Ferguson FV95 6 Head Nicam and it copies fine. I`ve tried it on my Dads Sony and it does not work . I can only suggest it depends on your VCR as well .
