Best to check here to find the best versions: http://www.dvdcompare.net/

I own a few Region 3`s and so far all good, however sometimes sparse as far as extras are concerned, however Bad Boys 2 was only £8.99 on Region 3 and £15 on Region 2 and it had the extras on the 2nd disc.

So guess which one I bought.

The comparison sie listed above will help you decide the best version of any potential purchases.

You can`t really compare the quality of the region some region 2 disks suck. From personal experience you won`t have a problem with any Western (US etc) films usually exactlly the same (quality) as region 2 / 1.

Sometimes it`s a bit hit and miss DDDHouse have a weekly sale which will sometimes have some poor quality discs in them but they are dirt cheap. I`ve never had a problem with any new releases like the 3 Infernal Affairs movies, or the Eye. Like Mikey said DVDcompare is a very good site
