Help with a movie title

PETER P (Competent) posted this on Friday, 26th March 2004, 16:32

I`m sorry but this is quite vague but I really would appreciate anyone having a go at a probably title.

I think this would have been one of the ones shown on bbc2 during a sci fi season of movies - I remember that there was a U.F.O under the sea(actually now I really think about it - it might have been an underwater lab) which was being attacked by a monster(a man in a suit job with claws, big teeth and I think blue scales)

The monster kept getting into the lab through an access hatch in the floor which was always open to the sea(but air pressure kept the water out)

There was also something else about the divers collecting eggs(which I think were blue and looked like they were made out of styrofoam) and I think the monster was either trying to stop them or get the eggs back.

I know theres not much to go on but any thoughts would be appreciated

Thanks

Its not that simple.

I dont know the title of the film - without the title of the film the IMDB doesn`t help much.

Thanks anyway

Peter
IMDB has a plot search facility too, so put in a few key words in the right box and see what happens.

Niether of those - I think it would have been older than either of them(and lower budget)

But thanks anyway

OK, how about this one!

I saw it as a kid and have been trying to find it ever since. and the plot search on imdb is no help!

Right, an astronaut goes into space and gets zapped by some kind of power. The zap gives him the power of the sun or something like that. He can run fast and (i think one of his abilities was to work out the combination to locks really quickly. And i think his head swells when he uses his powers. I have recollections of it being called northstar or something like that. Thinking back, it may have even been a feature length pilot.

Its been years since i saw it. It was on a rainy saturday afternoon and i think it was an ITV afternoon double bill of that and Digby: the biggest dog in the world!

VROOM VROOM!!
