Page 1 of Differences between Kill Bill US/UK + Jap ****POSSIBLE SPOILERS****

Just got the Jap version of Kill Bill - along with the UK version of course.

Besides the fight fight scene which is in full colour, does anyone know of any other differences between the 2 versions? If a list can be posted it would be great

I think the manga scene is a bit different but haven`t watched that bit yet. Aswell as in colour there are a fair few more limbs etc. chopped off in the Japanese release. Watch the bit where Beatrix (spoiler? ;-) ) stands on the shoulders, chops off his hands and then, facing the camera, seems to slice someone in two vertically..

theres a load of differences i will list them later it came this morning from AMAZON japan!! yeess!! watched VOL 2 last night superb,,.. all i can say is i cant wait for the 4 disc special editions..

I Watched KB2 last night at the cinema too!

Very good film, thought the way she killed him was well done and fitted in well with the flashbacks earlier in the film/ She still had loving feelings for Bill though as well as hate, so to kill him in that dignified manner was good - although I have to admit, a blood ridden sword fight would of been nice!

Just watched the uk dvd and the black and white fight seems longer than when i saw this at the cinema and it`s starting to distract me, Can anyone tell me what ratio the Japanese version (i:e 1.85/ 2.35:1) if it`s anamorphic and if the dts soundtrack is in english, thanks for any help

In the fight that was in black and white, the young man who got his ass whipped at the end was also involved in an earlier fight where she let him off by throwing him into a few men that were charging at her.

At the end of the movie, when Sophie is in the boot of the car, her other arm is seen sliced off because she was giving a bit of lip to the bride.

I have only scanned through the movie, still to watch it straight through.

Funny thing is.. when she takes her out of the boot and throws her down the hill you can see her right arm.
