Shaun of the dead from Send-it.com

How do.

Ordered Shaun of the Dead from Sendit.com on Monday. Normally they send their pre-orders out fairly quickly. However they are not even processing the order yet and if they were to get it here for monday you`d have thought they have got it sent by now.

Just wondering if anyone else has had their`s shipped yet. Suffered a spate of delayed orders and mistakes of late. Hope this ain`t another one.

I mean I accept if there is a delay. I`m actually away on buisness until the Tuesday so will be unable to watch it until then but I`d just like to know if it is being delay.

Never used to be nervous about these things but just lately I`ve had orders go dodgey all over the shop. :/

Same here, placed my order when it was £9.50 on CD Wow and had an email this morning saying it would be delayed until 10th September.

Sounds like what happened with the recent R1 release of Star Trek Generations, Paramount didnt want to delay the release date by changing the packaging so shipped out stock to retailers who then shipped out pre-orders but now Paramount are recalling the DVD so they can re-do the packaging and release the DVD at a later date.

If this is the case what will happen, will retailers ask for all pre-ordered and posted copies to be returned or is CD Wow making up an excuse because they cant get stock of the DVD for release day?

I`m not sure, but if the release has been put back because of new cover design then what is being packed at Sendit.com? It`s a very strange state of affairs if you ask me.

And surely in a situation like this (Less so in the example used above) they could simply recall all covers and issue new ones for people to slide in place. Surely that would save a recall when their is essentially nothing wrong with the discs.
