Page 1 of Anyone bought the South Park season box sets?

Are they worth having? Tempted into getting them from CD-Wow, with my 20% Egg discount. Does anyone know how many seasons there have been?

BTW, do CD-Wow packages over £20 get caught by customs?

I only have season 4 as a boxset but all the other volumes individually - they are worth getting but have no extras. CDWOW packages are sent from Jersey (I think) so the expensive ones do not get hit by customs. CDs and `cheap` DVDs are still sent from Hong Kong but the £18+ ones are now customs friendly! :D

i have season one.....the only extras to speak of are the intos by trey and matt, but these were part of the vhs releases so i don`t think they count.

good sets though. nice sturdy boxes.

These really annoyed me, they came before each and every episode and the only way to skop them was to fast forward.

I have series 1-4 boxsets. Series 5 was supposed to come out about 2 years ago but didn`t get released because of problems with the master copy or something, hopefully it will be released in Region 1 soon

ive been thinking of getting these too. i saw them on amazon for £14 season one and £17 for the other three. but i dont think there are many extras. is it worth paying a few quid more for region one, as its really just the episodes i want.

The R1 has slightly more extras - use DVD compare to see if you think they are worth it.

EDIT - The R1 DVDs apparently have 5 minutes or so of commentary by Matt and Trey which is not mentioned at DVD compare. Can`t remember where I read this though!

where tv dvd`s are concerned unless there are a good few extras then i just go for the price. because after watching the exrtas once, on say frasier or faulty towers, i havent bothered since, yet i have seen the episodes many times, also as they are only tv shows as long as the quality is ok then i might just go for region 2 for £17

Can anyone say how the packaging compares with the Region 1 and 2? Region 1 looks to be better, but I`m not so sure...?
