I know this is Jackie`s new Hong kong movie. But i havent herd anything about it, i didnt even know it was complete. Any news at all on anything about this??
As a huge Chan fan i think am going to have to pre-order this especially at that price.

Saw a trailer a while ago but thats all I know about it.

I`ve seen this and its worth a buy, a bit more serious for a Jackie Chan film for example he cries! lol but theres some good fights and you get Jackie running down the side of a building! :o I hav also pre-order this, films in Hong Kong seem to be released on dvd alot quicker after they`ve been at the cinema`s.

Actually, they usually are released whilst they`re still in the cinema (typically the day after the premiere) - it`s just not necessarily the official release.

Hence why they tend to be released sooner in the official version to counteract at least some of the piracy.

Hmmm ... still not sure whether to buy; JC`s last few films have been pants, and much as I love his earlier stuff, I`m uncertain.

I got this of a bloke selling dvds on the street last week. He wanted a fiver for it but I said four pounds, take it or leave it. I dont buy many pirates but sometimes its not too bad, the dvd was of original print. I have just breezed through it but it does look ok and im sure JC fans will not be dissapointed.

i saw this on cdwow a week or so ago but it wasent actually out just been back and it seems to be available so i was wondering if anyone has it yet and if so what is the picture quality like. if its anygood then im going to get it. the reason im asking is i was put off getting the recent release of flying daggers after reading some mixed things about its piture quality.

I pre-ordered the new Chan from yesasia - not as cheap as the bloke in the street, but you get...wait for it...free coasters. I can throw away those aol discs now.

Have ordered this from cdwow and has just been dispatched, so will let you know what it like when i get it.

Have just watched this and WOW what a film, easily Jackie`s most powerful film to date with excellent acting. This might not be your average Jackie flick as its very dark and rarely relies on its action to keep it flowing, although the action is good & 1 of the fights is Xellent. 9/10
The quality of the picture i think is fine, i am not the best judge of picture Q as i havent got a very good dvd player, but i found it did the job fine. The same goes for the sound i had the standard 5.1 chinese soundtack (i dont have dts) and it was very good, the gun effects sounded absolutely brill & sounded kind of like bad boys 2 (in a good way).
Please buy this film its a must for Chan fans
