I can not beleive you, The Limey was a great, original, artistic, clever film. Steven Soderburg uses non linear editing to full advantage. I am a big fan of Steven whose other films include Sex, Lies and Videotape, Out of Sight and of course Erin Brockovich. All his movies tell such compelling stories.

I baught The Limey when it came out last year and have since seen it 5 or 6 times... It gets better every screening. Terrance Stamp`s character Wilson is true and beleivable (although some stereo types creep in) Peter Fonda`s character is exactly the same as his character in Easy Rider... he still lives in the 60`s. Great movie, great story and very original. Give it a couple of viewings, it just gets better and better!

Much as I hate to diss a film, coming from Steven Soderbergh I expected a hell of a lot more. The plight of Terence Stamp`s character didn`t engage me at all and his accent borders on cliche. But hey! What do I know? (I thought Magnolia was fantastic!)

Each to their own, I say.
