i have seen for pre order, avp cinema edit
avp extreme 2 disk eddition
avp tin collectors eddition

but does anyone know if any of these versions have anything diffrent in them that was not on the cinema,
it all seems to be bonus features and fancy cases that are making these diffrent versions,
but is there any actual footage thats been added to the movie............................or even a few decent charicters.. :)

I`ve got the R3 2-disc special edition.

It has the Theatrical Version (100 min)

And the Extended Version (102 mins)

On the Extended, there is a sequence before the titles showing an encounter between the Alien and Predator in Antartica 100 years prior to when the film was set. This sequence only last about a minute, if that, so there must be other bits I haven`t noticed yet.

WOW!
A whole 2 MINUTES of new footage!!

I take it the rumours about the huge amount of footage cut from the Theatrical release really was a load of bollox then!

I`ll let you know when I`ve looked at disc 2, that has 11 deleted scenes on it.

Yep all that talk about loads being cut out was just internet gossip, this was confirmed by Anderson a few months ago.

Also, the new opening is about 85 seconds long so I think they just rounded it upto 2 mins as there is no other new footage in the film but there are 11 Deleted Scenes on Disc 2 but even if they were stuck back into the film they wouldnt improve it.

Having just watched them, I agree with you.

Some are already put into the extended version, but they don`t add to the film and they wont be missed.

OK

At the end of the film when the woman and the Predator take on the Queen alien, how come she aint freezing her butt off?

They`re in the middle of the Antartic and all she has on is a thermal t-shirt and ski type padded pants(the woman that is, not the Queen alien).

There isn`t even any breath coming from her mouth!

Dam!!!

Just remembered!

It aint real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
