hack code for phillips dvdr3300h

does anyone know how to hack the phillips dvdr 3300h recorder? Please help!

Also, can anyone tell me what dvd recorder plus or minus means? Whcih is better?

I`d advise against hacking any Philips machine, as subsequent firmware updates (absolutely vital) can clash with the hack. You`ll also get the machine to last a lot longer as a recorder only.

plus and dash (not minus) are incompatible sub-formats within the recordable DVD standard. Dash is the official recordable standard, plus is an enhanced format backed by a breakaway group of manufacturers including Sony and Philips. Neither is "better" as such, although plus has some refinements over dash. Dash discs are usually cheaper, but only by a small margin.
