Page 1 of Hard Candy

A very difficult film to watch, given the subject matter.

Left you squirming at certain parts, and a little confused at others. Definitely worth a watch, but I wasnt too impressed with the overuse of filters throughout the movie.

Only part which really left me puzzled was when

SPOILER:
at the end, he offered up the name of an accomplice, who she had already tortured. Given that even when he thought his nuts were coming off he still denied all guilt.
So, did he actually have anything to do with the disappearance or not?



You will Rue the day..........Go on then.....start rueing!!!!!

SPOILER:
I think he was involved but like he said he wasn`t the main culprit so just didn`t wanna say anything to her at all as he didnt think she`d go through with it.....or theres the possibilty he was enjoying it ;)

I was so dissapointed with this film.

The trailer made it look REALLY edgy, but the film was a let down in my opinion. Great idea, but they didn`t know how to stretch it out over an hour and a half.
