Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of The Shield: The Complete Third Season for 28th May 2007 priced at £34.99. It's been nearly 3 years since Season 2 of this award-winning cop drama was released on UK DVD and now finally the complete third season is set to grace our shelves.

Continuing where they left off, episodes are presented in 1.78:1 Anamorphic Widescreen and if the tentative release schedule is to be believed, we could see Season 4 as early as July.

Don`t wait for Region 2!

If you haven`t seen Series 4 and 5 they are awesome (5 is probably one of the best series of a tv show in my opinion).

Do you not have broadband and bit torrent movie_buff? Obviously not as good as the original DVD`s but saves waiting!!
