Page 1 of Quantum Leap Season 1 & 2 DVD question

Wondered if any fans know why:

At the end of the final episode of Season 1 "Play it Again Seymour", Sam leaps into a woman in a bath but the opening episode of Season 2 " Honeymoon Express" he is in some private eye.

Also in the Season 2 Episode "The Americanization of Machiko" at the end he leaps into a previously seen leap from Season 1 "The Color of Truth" but the next season 2 episode "What price Gloria?" he`s back in the woman in the bath.

Eh??

havent looked but seem to remember in my collection they had the odd episode from the next season?? maybe thats what ur seeing?

It`s the difference between production order and broadcast order. The episodes are on the discs in production order, but the teasers were shot for broadcast order.
