just a question, does it matter if i buy region1 blueray dvds or will they not work on ps3???

No expert, but given Sony`s rabid enthusiasm for region coding, i`d say no way sirree-bob-howdy

Aren`t most Blu-ray releases tri-coded? The majority of the UK discs I`ve seen so far have been, including `big` films like Pirates of the Caribbean and the sequel.
