Page 1 of DVDs with Chinese subtitles

Heelo Chaps,

Are there any places where I can buy DVDs that have an asian set of subtitles rather than the European set?

Does it depend on Region? If i find somewhere selling Region 4? will the subtitles be in chinese/thai/korean etc?

Talking about your standard movies, US/UK films and TV.

Any shopping sites etc would be welcome.

It`s not really just the region, it depends on the studio and the amount of different sets of subtitles they put on.

I`ve found http://www.dvdcompare.net/ to be a good site as a comparison between the different regions as it lists the different subtitles on each version, found it to be quite accurate so far - although I just tried looking for Black Sheep and it couldn`t find this years version...

CD Wow sell alot of region 3 movies, at great prices, and they always have asian subtitles. I have bougt plenty fom them - AVP2, most of the Harry Potters, loads more.

They always have the full english 5.1 soundtrack and several asian subtites inc chinese.

Just go to CD Wow, search for movies that you want then look down the list for the ones that are region 3. ;)

Also you could try DDDHouse or Yesasia

Found what I wanted, some good links. The OH (chinese) might not complain so much about my DVD buying if she can have proper subtitles!
